Grants
The Pathfinder Exchange Grant Program exists to support Pathfinder and Adventurer clubs and individual members by helping remove financial barriers and strengthen ministry, outreach, leadership development, and program growth.
Types of Grants
We offer several types of grants to meet different needs:
Micro Grants (Up to $500)
Quick support for small or immediate needs.
Common uses:
- Craft and activity supplies
- Outreach materials
- Basic camping or meeting equipment
- Printing or curriculum needs
Mini Grants ($500 – $1,000)
Funding for moderate projects or purchases.
Common uses:
- Uniform assistance
- Equipment purchases
- Club events
- Startup support for new clubs
Standard Grants ($1,000 – $5,000)
Support for larger projects and ministry initiatives.
Common uses:
- Major outreach events
- Equipment or trailer purchases
- Multi-club initiatives
- Leadership training programs
Matching Grants
Designed to partner with clubs in funding projects.
- Clubs contribute part of the cost
- Encourages local fundraising and ownership
- Helps stretch available funds to reach more clubs
Emergency Grants
For urgent, unexpected needs that impact club operations.
Examples:
- Damaged or lost equipment
- Unexpected financial hardship
- Time-sensitive ministry needs
Pathfinder Sponsorship Grants
Support for individual Pathfinders or Adventurers who need help participating.
Common uses:
- Uniforms
- Camporee or event fees
- Club dues
All sponsorships are handled with care to maintain dignity and privacy.

Reimbursement Grants
Available for qualifying ministry-related purchases already made.
- Applies to purchases made within the past 12 months
- Must meet the requirements of the applicable grant level
Who Can Apply
You may apply if you are:
- An active Pathfinder or Adventurer club
- An approved ministry partner
All projects must have a clear ministry or program purpose.
Key Guidelines
- Grants are available on a rolling basis (no deadlines)
- Funding is awarded based on need, impact, and available resources
What We Prioritize
We give priority to:
- Clubs with financial need
- First-time applicants
- Projects with clear ministry or outreach impact
- Underserved or growing areas
- Projects that benefit multiple Pathfinders or clubs
How It Works
- Submit your application online
- Applications are reviewed
- Approved projects receive funding
- Funds are used for the intended purpose
- A simple follow-up report is submitted
Use of Funds
Grant funds may be:
- Paid directly to the club
- Paid to a vendor on behalf of the club
- Reimbursed with proper documentation
Funds must be used for ministry purposes and within the approved timeframe.
Accountability
We ask all recipients to:
- Use funds as approved
- Keep basic records and receipts
- Provide a short follow-up report
This helps ensure we can continue supporting clubs well into the future.
